Arturo Gatti To Come Out Of Retirement Again?

"On September 24th, 2008 reports have surfaced that Gatti is considering a comeback against Montreal welterweight Antonin Decarie (19-0), the Canadian and North American Boxing Organization champion, perhaps in early 2009".

His last couple of fights havent been too good, and he is 36, but use to be one of the most exciting fighters in the sport, does any one think he can make a comeback for a few years?

Not at all. Alfonso Gomez iced his ass, bad. Then we saw how good Gomez was against someone like Miguel Cotto. That is probably bad for Gatti.

He will get destroyed by whoever this undefeated nobody is if he has fought a single credible human being up to this point.

He should stay retired, he's pretty much shot and I think Gatti's manager has shot down the rumors of him unretiring.

He must be running out of that arab money.. I have no beef with a comeback as long as he is fighting fellow bum club fighters. Who are we to deny this man a living? He and his fam gotta eat ya dig

As a massive Gatti fan I would be devestated if he got back in the ring. THe man has taken so much punishment and needs a rest.

he may be a bum now, but not in his prime my friend he was one of the best, its not impossible for a decent comeback, many of fighters have done it before

He was NOT one of the best...

Who the **** did he beat that cements him as the best? Tracy Harris Patterson? Micky Ward?

No dice, dude, he didn't beat anyone good, and lost to a lot of bad fighters. Ivan Robinson anyone?

It is impossible when your last fight was against a C+ fighter who destroyed you and you have been in more wars than the Germans. Arturo is like the definition of a shot fighter.
