He said he would fight the winner of Cotto-Mosley... as long as it was Mosley. He clearly wants Mosley, and especially now, moreso than ever since he just beat a name fighter in Mayorga. If he is not serious about retirement, he will likely take this fight.

Not enough incentive for Floyd to come back. Margarito, Cotto and Williams (since he's returning to 47) are all above Shane, why would May come back to fight a guy not even in the top 3 of the division, makes little sense, he'll cop abuse for it from diehard fans even though it'd be an intriguing fight

For now Mayweather seems serious about remaining retired. Maybe a hypothetical Pacquiao win over DLH could entice him back in the future, other than that I don't seem him wavering. As was mentioned he feels he is spiting those who didn't appreciate him by staying out of boxing. That said, Mosley's skills have clearly eroded too much for him to have a chance against Mayweather. It would look like a more lopsided version of Mayweather-DLH imo.
