I think this is a much tougher fight for Toney than you do. Thompson went 11 rounds with Klitschko and was winning rounds. Thats much more impressive to me than anything Toney has done in recent years.Comment

Thompson is underrated. He is power away from being a true top heavy. Look at how much he was able to touch up Wlad. He just didn't carry the power to actually hurt him. Tony Thompson UDs this version of James Toney, fat or not.Comment

Thompson has the style to exploit a lot of Toney's vulnerabilities. He's not going to come right at him and linger on the inside, he'll make Toney pick his feet up and maneuver for ring position. That is not what this incarnation of Toney is about.Comment

Relatively easy fight for Thompson.
I never understood people's fascination with Toney, whose HW "success" was more circumstencial then actually his own accomplishment. And on top of that Toney is a proven(twice) juicer.Comment

Toney will lose by UD. Didn't know Thompson was promoted by Goosen, I thought he was mostly a west coast promoter. Anyway Thompson had a bum knee when he fought Wlad? I don't think it would've made too big a difference, maybe a UD for Wlad instead of a KO.Comment
