It's a shame because I'm usually more entertained by the cruiserweight fights than what the heavyweight division offers.
I think with very little effort that Eddie Chambers could dominate the CW division. He was fighting at 213 a year ago, he could lose that much in water weight. His power would be much more of a factor there and he wouldn't be fighting guys with 30 or 40 lbs on him.
The fights are definitely more entertaining on average.
Too bad the division doesn't get more attention - it's the natural fighting weight for a lot of people! I think Chambers, Ibragimov, Boytsov, Chagaev and others who would be in shape at 200 would fight at cruiserweight if the prestige and money were better.
Many of the exciting heavyweights of old such as Dempsey, Marciano and the young Muhammed Ali would be cruiserweights today.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why the cruiserweight division gets 0 attention in America.
It is heavyweights with increases stamina. Who can be pissed with heavyweights who throw lots of punches and have the KO power?

If he's 6'7" (that's taller than Wladimir) why does he fight at cruiserweight?
he just participated on the olympics so he had to go down in weight to fight.they offer him to stay but he was killing himself to make weight,so he's going to start at cruserweight.
