Wladimir Klitschko-Alexander Povetkin Set: Dec. 13 on HBO

K2 Promotions, the promotional company of WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (51-3, 45 KOs), put in the winning purse bid to win the rights to Klitschko's mandatory title defense against IBF mandatory Alexander Povetkin (16-0, 12 KOs). K2 placed a very high bid of $13,130,130, while Povetkin's promoter, Sauerland Event, put in $8,114,140. [details]

I think Wlad wins a comfortable decision.

Unless Povetkin fixed gaps in his defense, he's getting knocked out.

This should be an exciting fight.

Wlad fighting 3 times this year is great, at least he is not keeping the belts hostage.

IMO, Povetkin has a legit shot at winning, he is the hungrier HW fighter out there. So far I'll call the odds at 70-30 in favor of Wlad.

I agree. Povetkin had trouble with Chambers' jab. Imagine what Wlads will do to him. TKO sometime after rd. 5.

I have a feeling Povetkin will put up a better fight than most people think but I still like Wladimir by KO
