Ricky Hatton Says "Amir 'Khan' Make it Back," Plus Floyd Sr.

Just now in the beginning stages of his preparation to face IBF 140-pound titlist Paulie Malignaggi on November 22nd in Las Vegas, Ricky Hatton took a few moments to interrupt his training camp to offer his thoughts on Amir Khan's shocking first round knockout loss to Breidis Prescott last weekend. listen to the experinced man

Amir khan should come back as hatton is doing..He is still young and can be a future champ..he must learn his lesson from his mistakes and his fight with presscot is just a copycat of de leon vs.bautista, juanma lopez vs. de leon..improve your defense...as they are saying, defense is an offense,,in short protect or cover up your weak chins but dont forget to include the body...trainers and coaches must know this..good luck amir.weather the storm and come back a better man..

Who's saying that? I've never heard that one before.

And the lightweight division is a strong one. No way is Khan able to take world class punchers with his chin. Might make it to European level at best.

No way will he ever be a legit undisputed champ. Hand picked opponents to a vacant title maybe, but that doesn't make you a champ.

Hatton will doubtfully be able to out box Malignaggi. If he can you use his jab to help get himself on the inside better or before throwing left hooks instead of jumping in with them then he could be more effective. I hope Mayweather Sr. helps him improve his defense too. Otherwise this fight will be a repeat of Diaz-Katsidis.

good to see hatton trying to fix his defense, and wanting to learn, and improve. sadly, it may be to late.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Let's see if he can prove us wrong.

i think with hattons style unchanged,he could still beat paulie!

lets not pretend paulie is a hall of famer boxer!! hatton will bully and overpower malinaggi!

any help with his defence is just another tool in his toolbox!
even if he just learns to pick his punches and keep his hands up,he will walk all over mallinagi. IMO.

hope floyd mayweather can teach a few things to hatton, which im sure he will!
