Oscar has never seen power like Jackson's( who is most likey a top 5 puncher at middlweight) and he also stands and trades at points and gives his opponents their opportunities. He would certainly be knocked out IMO. Too much power.
Agreed, the man's power was amazing. Has got to be one of the best punchers ever.

I don't know. Tito never touched Oscar, and Tito was a better boxer than Jackson.

But if anyone has the power to knock Oscar out with a headshot, it's Jackson

Both Norris and Graham got sloppy when they were hit. Norris sat lazily on the ropes. Graham had Jackson nearly finished and for some reason didn't step out on count.

Delahoya would have prepared properly to avoid Jacksons power and stopped him. In spite of popular belief, Jackson was not a great fighter. Devastaing puncher yes. But very vunerable.

Yeah they aren't exactly showing the Mike McCallum or Quincy Taylor fights in those highlight reels are they?

Although you do see the McLellan fights quite a bit.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jackson was able to catch De La Hoya if Oscar fought Jackson like he fought Vargas.

I remember DLH being so pissed because Vargas was trash talking like a mofo so I think DLH just wanted to kick his ass and was willing to take some shots.
The only other time I really remember DLH being really mad was Mayorga later but that was tame in comparison to how much he hated Vargas.

Vargas dissed DLH to no end in the build up of that fight.
You knew it was gonna be a war.

You might have a point there, DLH fought Mayorga in the pocket and got the better of him. Tito could not touch Oscar either. But Jackson was bigger and a harder puncher than both Ricardo and Tito.
