I dont think you ever thought of that huh?
This thread is a stretch in a half.

Lets get 1 thing straight right now

PAUL IS SALIVATING TO TAKE MARGARITOS BELT RIGHT NOW.

And Paul will be Margaritos biggest payday ever.

I dont think he is ducking Quintana, I dot think quintana wants it anymore with WIlliams.

      I still say duck.

also you should Get it staright that Margarito isnt a draw. Its not like fighting a mayweather or De La Hoya. Paul is looking to be number 1 Margs is looking for money.
No, four million is what they offered Bob Arum. Margarito's share would be considerably less. Sometimes you have to look past the headlines.

        Sure, ok.

Paul is slavating for that money so he can feed his mal-nutritioned ass. Mother ****er looking like one of those kids from Africa and ****.

Bottom line, he is making a calculated risk. Back then the fight didnt make sense since there was a good chance he would lose and not make cents. Now it makes sense because he will make cents.

He probably would still be making more then what he had been making. If 4 million dollars is the total purse, which I guess would be plus revenue, then Arum only gets a 33% cut right? What's his promoter fee?

Someone teach me how the purse is divided and **** please.

Worst day? Williams was throwing A LOT of punches and it was overwhelming him. Also what's to say he won't "start slow" again? He lost the first 5 out of 6 rounds against Cotto. Did Margarito "start slow"?

Also according to Dan Goosen they offered Marg a rematch when Cintron pulled out and Arum denied it.

"Well you can't believe Williams' promoter"

Well let's check who said Williams refused a rematch....MARGARITO'S MANAGER. It works both ways.

Oh yeah and Paul's best day is when KTFO of Carlos Quintana in the first round and didn't let Quintana start moving at all.

He'll say "I was ready to fight but he can't make 147 anymore.."

i don't know why everyone acts like they know what goes on in the negotiations. we have no idea who ducks who and who turned down what offer because of ****** lying promoters. i don't think none of these fighters is ducking anyone, i would bet that cotto would fight marg in his next fight if arum told him that was best and marg would fight williams now also. these guys are warriors and beleive they can beat anybody or they probably wouldnt be fighting.

It gets pretty complicated if you are talking about a PPV and keeping Arum out of the promotion. It isn't as easy as summing it up with a simple dollar amount or percentage.
