    Pacquiao's Lawyer: "We Won't Budge From a 60-40 Split"

Negotiations are still ongoing for a potential December 6 bout between Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao, but unless one of the fighters is willing to come down from their monetary demand - the fight is probably not going to happen. [details]

Mangler. Yup! Gacal is your man!

But what is ****** is signing-up with OLDH in haste. And signing another contract with Arum. Imagine, a small town lawyer from General Santos City, advising Manny to sign two legal contracts. Must have been absent when they were discussing that subject in law school. LOL

DLH was once a upon a time a famous boxer!!! but who is DLH today??? he is now in his twilight boxing career who try to rake millions dollars on his final moment in the ring! Pacquiao can enticed more viewers than DLH and I bet including you will watch this if their bout will worked. Therefore, 50-50 sharing should be fair to both fighters, but 60-40 in favor of DLH is also okey in respect to his last fight (although I don't buy DLH word). By the way, I bet Pacman will win this bout by points!

almost kind of feels like the Pacquiao camp has a "blasé blasé" kind of attitude about this. Like if it gets signed, it gets signed. if not, oh well.

You cant turn down 10-15 mill on principle. Even if Oscar is a greedy ***** (he wanted 10 oz. gloves at first), he's earned that right.

He really should not look at the % split he should look at the overall cash he is getting. It is kind of a short sighted view to turn down this fight over 10% if he really wants the fight. I do not think he can make "Oscar" type money against anyone else.

I would assume Pacman would get PPV upside so the base purse could be alot smaller then what he actually takes home.
