Team USA only had one fighter among the three divisions, featherweight Raynell Williams, who dropped a 9-7 decision to Khedafi Djelkhir, of France. Four remain in the medal hunt - welterweight Demetrius Andrade and heavyweight Deontay Wilder have both advanced to the quarterfinals, while light flyweight Luis Yanez and middleweight Shawn Estrada appear in separate bouts on Saturday.
