Hugo Cazares: "Margarito Motivates Me To Beat Ivan Calderon"

The next chapter of Mexico vs. Puerto Rico will take place on August 30 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, when WBO junior flyweight champion Ivan Calderon defends his title against Mexican puncher Hugo Cazares. The two fought an exciting twelve-round battle last August, also in Puerto Rico, and saw Calderon get off the floor in the eight-round to pull out a split-decision to capture his current title from Cazares. No, the only time he was in real trouble was the round he was knocked down in and the round after that. I thought he won clearly, nothing controversial about it to me.

I saw some parts of the fight in Youtube and it looked like he was clearly running. Not boxing but running.

He used good lateral movement in the fight, Cazares couldn't catch him for the most part. It was a good fight.
