    Samil Sam Vacates EBU Title, Paulo Vidoz vs. Matt Skelton

    Newly crowned EBU heavyweight champ Sinan Samil Sam has relinquished the title rather than go through with the rematch against Italian Paolo Vidoz. It will now be Vidoz vs. Brit Matt Skelton for the vacant title with September 8 at noon as deadline for purse bids or agreement. [details]

      Good that Vidoz is receiving a second chance.

      I thought he deserved to win a close decision in the recent fight with Sam, since he landed far more clean punches.

      The judges may have been intimidated by Ohner and the crowd, and so scored the closer rounds for Sam.
