Margarito's Iron Chin Proves He Shouldnt Be Fighting At Welterweight

Many already think he is too big for the weight and should have been fighting at a higher weight. Its like if say Cotto could make lightweight and fought there, nobody would be able to hurt him because those guys arnt strong enough, Im starting to think the same about Margarito at welterweight, these guys just arnt strong enough to hurt him.

While I'm not fan of Margarito, wrong logic sunny boy.

If he didn't belong at 147 because of his chin then wouldn't his chin be weak?

Example: Cotto at 140.....horrible chin. Had trouble making weight and was too big for that weight.

Chris Byrd - Had a decent chin at Heavyweight yet his first fight at light-heavy, he was stumbling all over the ring against the smallest fighter he's ever fought.

    Etc, etc, etc,.........

If Margarito can make the weight than he should be able to fight there if he wants. Same way with Paul Williams. Yeah they guy maybe be freakishly tall to make that weight, but if he does come the time of weigh in than he should be able to fight at that weight.

Exactly. I hate when people say the same for Williams.

You have it backwards, Im saying if Margo fought at a higher weight guys would be able to hurt him there. I never believed the whole weight thing as Cotto's problem with his chin, I think his chin is still weak, its just that he saw most of those slow punches and it didnt effect him as much, thats why it took so many. When you see a punch it wont hurt as much, no shock value. Cotto got rocked by Zab, was it a weight problem then? Its weak as its always been.

Cotto fought at a lower weight and got hurt by Torres and Corley etc.

I shouldnt have used Cotto because he has a weak chin to begin with. But insert someone else instead of Cotto.

Margarito moved up to 154 and he couldnt move santos.

Paul williams has the balls of the oldschool fighters I put paul williams in the same league as pavlik, pacquiao, cotto, and james toney and jones jr.
Fighters who move up in weight for real challenges.

Let us see Margarito fight someone at 160.

Paul williams was willing to fight pavlik.

well lets see a pavlik vs margarito if he is such a WARRIOR!
