at first i was like that was a bs call, but then after wtaching and listening to what rahman says and from hearing his corner men call over the doctor, i'm having second thoughts about it, i don't think it was that much of a bad decision.
rahman did call the doctor over and he did tell him that he couldn't see. and although it was called by a head butt, the doctor didn't even view the cut as one bad enough to stop the fight on the cut alone. rahman was saying that he couldn't see and therefore couldn't fight. i didn't and still don't know what rahamn was thinking, other than he didn't want to fight anymore after being cut, and was trying to get it to stop and be a no contest or no decision.
but like i said, you can hear him and his corner men wanting the doctor to come see the cut. you can hear someone on the side in the corner say: go get the doctor to take a look at this. get him to see this cut.
the doctor wasn't even going to go up to the apron to view the cut, not until rahman's corner called him over, so, like i said, i don't have much sympathy anymore, not as much as i did when it first happened. i can see how they came to the conclusion that the fight be stopped and that it was rahman saying to stop it pretty much, enough was said and done by rahman to draw to that conclusion................
tought titty, he should've fought on a round to see where he was at before wanting to see the doc..... -

yeah the difference is Rahman is a boxer but Toney actually loves to fight thats why he can still do it .. Chris Byrd is a turd though for saying everyone
could see it was a headbut, it wasn't really much of a headbut ...
Byrd is just upset because he had a personal gripe with Toney ...
Rahman should and will retire ... that cut was really small but
he felt it was big so that tells you something ..Comment

All I know is that Rahman was outworking Toney early, and Toney was a bit lagged behind and couldn't catch Rahman yet.........then all of the sudden the headbutt cut and Toney starts landing hard right hands?Comment

If you watch the Toney/Holyfield fight, you'll see the same thing; first few rounds Holy was up, but Toney measuring the entire time. By round 7 Rahman would have hit the canvas due to the same accurate punching that put Holy down. It was only a matter of timeComment
