All of these fights would be at 130, where

    1. He was exciting

    2. He was beating the **** out of people

    3. He had an offensive aresnal

    4. You have never seen him at 130

    5. If he didint look impressive, he would be on jermaine taylors level, this is how i know you are talking out of your ass.

Which fighter on Pacquaio's resume would stand a chance? I think thats the better question.

truthfully, the only one is marquez. Whom i think is better than both morales and barrera. 3k battery, solis, larios, ledwaba, david diaz (who was on the same team as mayweather in 96) would all get their asses handed to them.

Marquez never matched well against equal counter punchers or technical fighters, but shined against come foward opponents that tried to bring the fight the to him. When we take a look at all of his losses, with the exception of Pacquaio, all of his losses came into the hands of technitions. Chris John, Freddy Norwood ect are all great pure boxers with counter punching ability that Marquez could never handle. Thats why he even struggled with Barrera at the end of his career. I see Marquez being competitive, but Mayweather would simply be too much IMO.

I dont disagree at all. The thing is, Morales would come foward and mayweather would give him a raheem esque beating. Eric was past it against Raheem but it doesnt matter, the results would be the same. Barrera, same thing, especially if he got to him circa 00-01-02 where it would likely be the Barrera that would come foward and try to apply pressure, mayweather is too fast for that at 130.

I dont know about you, but that first castillo fight never left a mark for me personally, it was close, but mayweather says he was hurt and in the rematch did what he had to do. People run to that fight ignore the fact that theyfought again, it would be more of the same against any of those guys. Not to mention, people make it seem like mayweather took some helatious beating against Castillo which he didnt. He just looked vunerable for once.

Either way there is no one on pacmans resume who would stand a real chance other than marquez and marquez would still lose decisively. I dont look at boxrec or any of that **** very often unless i forget someones name, just going off of fights i have actually seen for myself.

One thing i can say is you can definately tell who has followed the sport pre-2003 pac/barrera and who hasnt, its no knock on people who are newer fans, but on the other hand, there is alot of ignorance about mayweathers 130 career that make it frustrating since i am forced to rehash just how great he was at that weight.

Really? Who did mayweather duck at 130 and 135? Because this is the weight class were talking about. I am pretty sure before pacman got to 130, you had no idea the division existed.

They were no where around when Mayweather was down there. Mayweather fought the best earlier in his career and only started to match himself carefully towards the end of his career.
