By Cliff Rold - Returning from defeat can be tough for some fighters. 27-year old Light Heavyweight Chris Henry (22-1, 18 KO) of Houston, Texas apparently isn’t one of them as he showed on Wednesday night in his hometown’s Grand Plaza Hotel, stopping 32-year old veteran Rubin Williams (29-5-1, 16 KO) of Detroit, Michigan in six brutally one-sided rounds. Rubin Williams needs to retire immediately! I never expected that his career would come to this. I seriously wonder if his fight with Antwan Echols left him with moderate brain damage. In that fight he took a lot of punishment although he won the fight if memory serves me correctly. It may have been a draw but anyway, that was his last good performance. It has been all down hill since. He came in at a whopping 181 lbs. Plus he took the fight on two weeks notice. Other than a jab, he could hardly put together combinations. When he fought Jeff Lacy although he was stopped, he boxed beautifully, letting his hands go in the center of the ring. I'm 100% convinced that he has moderate brain damage.Last edited by internetworld7; 07-10-2008, 04:34 PM. -

I think Henry will have a good shot to upset Shaun George.
I've seen Henry only once against Diaconu and he's one of the toughest fighters who will not allow you to take any breaks. He's limited but this guy is a powerhouse.Comment
