Malignaggi: "I'm Ready To Rock-n-Roll with Hatton"
Collapse

We will never know. Cortez forced Hatton to get reckless with his extremely biased refereeing that night. If Cortez was "fair" then Hatton probably would've lost a UD after seeing the "official" score cards. Ricky Hatton clearly won 4 or 5 of the first 7 rounds yet on the "official" cards they only gave him one. -
The haters will never admit it, but Cortez did indeed altered the fight outcome. Forcing Hatton to break every time he worked his way in took away the best chance RH had of winning. He also never warned Floyd for holding, elbowing, turning and using the headbutt. With all the fouls Floyd committed that night Cortez takes a point away from Hatton after Ricky hurt him right after Floyd landed yet another elbow and went in between the ropes to avoid getting hit again. That's when RH decided he was never going to get a fair shake and had to KO Floyd to win and he got reckless, which is always dangerous against a fast, accurate, hard punching counter puncher like Floyd.
Are you seriously saying Cortez caused Hatton to get KO?

hatton is not an elite fighter his best wins are against inactive fightersMalignaggi is not an elite fighter. He will get out hustled by Hatton. Cotto destroyed Mallignaggi sending him straight to the hospital yet Paulie and his few fans feel good cause Mallignaggi lasted the entire fight? What good is it to go the distance yet get your face rearrange, lose the fight and end up in the hospital? I call that a loser not a winner, no heart, no champion.Leave a comment:
