We will never know. Cortez forced Hatton to get reckless with his extremely biased refereeing that night. If Cortez was "fair" then Hatton probably would've lost a UD after seeing the "official" score cards. Ricky Hatton clearly won 4 or 5 of the first 7 rounds yet on the "official" cards they only gave him one.

Floyd needs to prove it without a ref in his pocket jumping in for him, allowing him to throw elbows, hold on and duck down.

hahaha, even when Hatton was in his "fight", meaning him attempting to clinch as hard as he can, he wasn't doing ****. Hatton go beat badly that night, won't ever be the same. He should not fight Malignaggi he should retire.

What does the Collazo fight have to do with the Lazcano fight? Ive got the Collazo fight on dvd and Collazo's bent forward, they break and Hatton hits him with a body shot. He was warned by the ref afterwards.

Lazcano was holding Hatton's head downa and fired 3 or 4 rabbit punches into him. Hardly the same thing.

Again I dont get why you're bringing up the Collazo fight. The ref was American. Only further serves to prove their incompetence if he missed a Knockdown. Which I dont believe it was at all.

of course you didn't realise that you can't punch in the back,the back of the head or when your opponent is half way out the ring your a hatton fan but you do think it's illegal to excessively duck

it was cool for hatton to do it in the 1st round of the collazo fight so why can't lazcano do it and lazcano was not holding, hatton was, lazcano was trying to finish hatton because he thought he had hatton hurt and i see that you don't like using your eyes because collazo clearly landed a 1 2 on hatton and hatton fell on collazo and tried to hold on and collazo pushed him off and hatton was on the floor
