In round 4 to Ali Funeka of South Africa, this was for the #1 contender spot in the IBF. Funeka's promoter said that he wanted the first shot at the Campbell-Guzman winner.

I want to see that fight. KO'ing Raheem is no small feat.

Boxrec results confirm that. But it's not like boxrec has never posted the wrong result before.

The result is on ********* and it says that he got dropped like 4 times the last one left him laying face down to get counted out. I do want to see it though because it is suprising to see Raheem get his ass kicked like that.

Funeka dropped him like 4 times. People criticized Raheem for holding a lot, but he had a very good reason.

Looks like he's a few places back in the lightweight rankings once again.

Raheem is usually boring as hell, but he's a better fighter than he gets credit for. I thought he might be a dark horse threat to the LW elite, but **** it now. He's all done. Props to Funeka for the KO. Dumbass ref robbed Raheem against Juarez and the judges shaded him a lil against Freitas. This is his 1st real loss imo.

** Typical Raheemy nonsense. The guy's legs go with the first solid shot.

Ref prevented Rocky from knocking him out after the KD. Guy was all over the place for a couple of rounds after that. Also could have been DQed for pulling Rocky's head down a couple of dozen times that the ref broke and warned him/penalized him repeatedly, allowing him time to recover.

Rocky fans knew it. They were the ones booing the ref for interference, Robert Gonzales, an amateur style ref with no understanding of the pro game. Same deal with Freitas, once Rheemy got clocked, it was his scalded cat routine.

The only time he really shined was against a past it, bloated Morales. Going into the Rocky fight, it was the typical, overrated, undefeated, what passes for Philly fighters these days, more silly than old school Philly.

He could still finish out a decent career as a gatekeeper. Good boxing test for prospects wanting to be contenders. No shame in that, being a very good never man.
