Steven Luevano-Mario Santiago Rematch is Possible

Last Saturday, WBO featherweight champ Steven Luevano and mandatory challenger Mario Santiago battled to a twelve-round draw at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The scrap was easily the fight of the night on the Manny Pacquiao-David Diaz undercard. The close fight, which saw both fighters hit the floor in the second-round, was stained with a one-sided 117-111 scorecard by one of the official judges. The judge in question gave very few rounds to Santiago. [details]

I wouldn't mind a rematch, I thought Luevano fought the wrong fight, I think he'll go back to his usual style if they have a rematch and he should win the fight.

I had Luevano winning by a point, 117-111 was ridiculous.

I had Santiago 115-113, but I can see it both ways.

      117-111 was definitely a joke.

shouldn't be "possible", it should be made. Santiago deserves another crack and Luevano needs to redeem himself.

santiago had that fight in the bag..... he just didnt press the action when he need it.. and let steve come back with flurrys at the bells and I dont know... for me that sucks... hopefully in their rematch...he can do it better.... a draw.. was fair & square.... not because of steve.. but because of santiago's lackkk of EVERYTHING u do in a championship fight...

Santiago had a habit of letting Luevano back into the fight last few seconds of every round so i could see how Luevano might have been able to steal his way into that 117-111
