As reported several days ago, the junior featherweight title unification bout between champions Steve Molitor (27-0, 10KOs) and Celestino Caballero (29-2, 20KOs) has been set for November 21 at Casino Rama in Ontario, Canada. Leon Margules of Warriors Boxing and Molitor's promoter Allan Trembley recently met to finalize the deal and the contracts were signed. Molitor must first win his title defense against undefeated Ceferino Dario Labarda (18-0, 7KOs), scheduled for August 29, also at Casino Rama. [details]

salazar is a biatch! molitor needs a new promotional and management team if he wants to get worldwide exposure not tortureComment

What is the point of signing a contract if you are not going to honor it? Molitor’s present management signed an agreement when Molitor was an unknown and benefited from Salazar. Once he gained the title and some notice suddenly they want to break an agreement that helped him get to where he is now. Greed kills some careers and Molitor’s camp would have been better off sticking to their word. Instead they have to avoid fighting in the states; the only place to make big purses. Boxing is filled with people like Allan Trembley; they need someone else to get them to the big time then they think they can do it themselves.
