Terry Norris v Oscar Dela Hoya 154lbs who wins

this fight nearly happened but Norris was upset by Kieth Mullings unfortunately ,but how would this fight have played out

i think maybe Oscar by KO or Norris by decision
,depends how Norris fought he was either a gun slinger when it suited him or a very good counter puncher on the back foot

if the Norris that fought Simon Brown 2 turned up i could easily see Oscar being outboxed but if the Norris that fought Waters ,Brown 1 , Blocker ,Gatti etc turned up then he could very well get stopped

im swaying towards Oscar by stoppage but if Norris boxed id pick him over Oscar

Oscar takes him out like Mayorga. One left hook and Terry goes down like a sack of potatoes. Terry had no chin.

I think terry would take it. I think terry speed, power, and combination punching would be to much for oscar.

but oscar with his skills and left hook in particular would have a good punchers chance

not that terry had the worst chin ever but when you are that offensive you are open to get hit.

Norris would outbox him, but Oscar could knock him out. I usually don't favour punchers in a fight so I go for Norris by UD.

I think DLH by come from behind knockout, he'd get outboxed for the first 7 or 8 rounds, Norris gets a bit over eager and starts going after DLH and gets caught with a left hook that ends his night.

Anyway, Oscar always had problems with athletic, black fighters: Pernell, Quartey, Shane, Floyd.

Oscar likes to have the speed advantage.

Oscar by KO. Terry was a great defensive boxer when he tried. But he enjoyed brawling to much and got caught. Im sure at one point he would start slugging and get caught.

I picked Norris by decision, but he could very well get caught.
