Yeah he looked good, but why is a guy like Floyd fighting someone making their pro debut, in Floyd's 4th fight? I guess it's better than the 1-13-1 fighter he fought in his 9th fight. Talk about bringing someone along soft.

actually, he looked like garbage in his 2nd pro fight. thats probebly why they decided to put him against guys in their pro debut then. but thats ok, he just needed to get adjusted to the pros instead of the amateurs.

Floyd won his first title in his 18th pro fight. I'd say that is far from soft.

maybe, but he almost lost his 2nd pro fight against a nobody. really, theres nothing wrong with that, but I have a feeling Mayweather would prefer to be undefeated. Like I said, its not a big deal at all, some people just need some time to adjust to fighting professionally. Didnt take Mayweather much longer anyway.

and honestly, how good you look early in your pro career doesnt always mean a lot. I mean, Davey Moore was already a champ in his 4th fight, wasnt he? He never even got close to being a p4p fighter as far as I know.
