To me, its a pick'em fight. It can go either way. Both guys have the tools to offset eachother.

Cotto is very good..but I think Floyd is a few levels better then him.

You know...we have yet to see Cotto in the ring with someone his equal, young, hungry, strong, etc.

All I seen was him beat Judah...Mosley...Quitana.

I anxious to see him against Margarito because for the first time in his career...he wont be the bigger fighter, he wont be the tougher fighter...he wont be the stronger fighter....he wont have an intimidation factor....he wont get any breaks.

Margarito will be a true test in my eyes.

I think the reason why he retired was clear to most people to see (He couldnt get his way at the negiotation table) but That isnt new, We all know Oscar is very greedy when it comes to money. He did the samething to Mosley someone he lost to twice but still wouldnt give Mosley parity in a third fight.

Mosley to his credit then went out of his way to give Winky wright a chance to make a name for himself by fighting him when he didnt have to and i wish Mayweather had done the samething with Cotto or Margarito instead of calling it a day.

Floyd retired to avoid De La Hoya - they were supposed to be fighting in September. I guess he remembered being hit by DLH in the first fight. He didn't want to be hit any more, not even for many millions of dollars.

Floyd will go down in boxing history as a coward - as "Chicken" Floyd Mayweather.

Its also been rumored that Floyd pulled out of the fight to spite his father. He did'nt want his father getting any credit if Oscar were to somehow beat him.

According to Roy Jones, he lost a fight on purpose that way his dad didnt get the credit! LOL. Remember that?

Hell....if thats true then maybe Floyd DUCKED Oscar big time.

And Im one of Floyds biggest fans..maybe the Dad being trainer had more to do with Floyd not fighting then money.

Think about it. Floyd would'nt be able to handle getting beat by a fighter that his father trained. Floyd feels as if he is bigger than king kong, let alone his own father. His ego would be reduced to ash if Oscar were to beat him. Its actually quite sad. I wish him and his dad would just reconcile with eachother. Its rare when a boxing family such as the Mayweather's comes along.
