Nightmare no doubt. Has the power to create vicious knockouts and isn't afraid to fight. Looking at the poll again though, I'm torn between Eddie Chambers and Eddie Chambers.Comment

Arreola has the most exciting style and Im sure thats why he is the popular pick atm. However, he is VERY FLAWED and fighting someone like Chambers would get picked apart. I like Chambers as well and him and Arreola are the most fun for me to watch out of this bunch for two completely different reasons. But the best American young heavyweight is unfortunately Kevin Johnson. Admittedly he isn't the most exciting to watch (I have suffered a few of his fights ringside, and the crowd always boos him, always), but he is just as fast and Chambers, with not as good coutnering skills, but his jab is leagues above every other prospect, he uses his height well, and he is extremely hard to hit. Chambers uses a WEinky Wright peek-a-boo style but his larger abdomen can be found and there were times in his fight with Povetkin where he didn't punch back because there was a little sting in Sasha's punches. Chambers' workrate is his downfall, no doubt, but Johnson is very difficult to beat period. He has a full arsenal of punches he uses, he just doesn't use them all in the same fight. If he would just go for the KO people would respect him, but he chooses to be safe and that is robbing him of any type of following and a lot of respect. Johnson will be the hardest to defeat out of the bunch. That doesn't make me very happy.Comment

I've heard before Arreola sometimes get eaten up in sparring, just flat out outboxed but he's nothing but entertaining and at least they are throwing him with another undefeated guy so they both can finally take the kid gloves off and not worry so much about their undefeated records.
I think a lot of American fans just want to see an American mix it up and give us a show even if he loses.
The only issue is Arreola's sometimes poor technique and looking for the ko can make what you thought was an exciting pretty boring if he meets someone quick with a good skill set that jabs and boxes his head off while he goes headhunting.
But hell he can improve and at least he's stepping up.
The thing about Chambers. It seems he didn't even try to win the Povetkin fight.
Some of the other dudes are so ridiculously protected they aren't even worth mentioning.Comment

Tony Thompson beat the **** outta Walker in sparring, theres better young american hws than Walker.

I agree that chambers is probably the best prospect over all. He has good speed and technical ability as well as enough pop to earn some respect. He is a really good counter puncher. His work rate is just horrible how ever. He is overly defensive. He seems to have a good chin as he took everything that brock and povetkin threw at him and neither of those guys is a weak puncher. the thing is he has to have that flab on him in order to make the heavy weight limit. His stamina is really good her just gets to eat what ever he wants just to have enough size.
Travis walker is as rough as sand paper. He has a decent jab but does not know how best or when to throw it. He has good power and ok work rate his chin is alright the wilson fight should not have been stopped imo and he came back to blast wilson in a rematch. If walker were to get some polish on his skills he could be a threat. he reminds me of a young Rachman but not as gifted.
Chris areaolla is an exciting strong punching fighter. He seems to have a solid ching and great work rate and desire. He is nothing but a brawler and there is nothing pretty about his style. he can be a contender but I do not think he has the tools to beat anyone in the top ten. His stamina is not too bad but I think he needs to take training much more seriously. he also needs to develop a jab so he can set up his punches better an not waist so much energy winging bombs.
Kevin Johnson is a very good boxer. His main problem is that he lacks fire. He does just enough to win rounds. I think that he is too confident in his abilities and so feels that he does not have to try hard to win fights. He is a fighter that needs to step in with a fighter that is going to rough him up and poses a threat to him in order for us to see the best kevin johnson.
Jason estrada has a lot of skill and fight intelligence. He has stepped up his comp recently but he is so feather fisted its just sick. He will never amount to much he just does not have the power to earn other fighters respect.Comment
