Zab Judah without a doubt. His street lifestyle kept him from becoming one of the best 140-147 pounders of this era. If Zab wasn't trying so hard to be a thug, and dedicated himself 100% to the training aspects of the sport, he would probably be undefeated right now. Every fight he lost, he was in for a while:
Tszyu - Handily won the first round until he got ****y, then jumped up too quick.
Spinks - Thought he had the fight in the bag, didn't do enough to handily win, showed his dedication in the rematch though.
Baldomir - Simply didn't take him serious and it cost him.
Mayweather - Was beating him to the punch, but caved under pressure.
Cotto - Rocked him in the first round, and continuously hit him with left hand shots through the 3rd, even after the low blows, but lost. Low blows may have been a factor, though.
Zab had so much potential and it never came to fruition, it's sad how great he could have been.Comment

To me Ike is more disappointing than Zab or Naz. I think dedication is a talent, just like reflexes. Ike was what he was and we didnt get to see him, Zab and Naz could not put it together IN the ring (or gym but you get my boxing), Ike's trouble was OUT of the sport.Comment

Just like Pacquiao did right? the hardest hitter in s. featherweight ?....hamed would've gotten schooled even worse by Marquez and possibly got his ass KTFO.. too bad barrera didnt push for the KO

agreed, hamed woulda got his ass handed to him by a younger, cautious vicious counter puncher like jMM.

Vargas and Tyson didn't go as far as they could've but they accomplished a lot in a short time. And they became stars that will be missed and talked about long after they're gone. Zab is the biggest choke artist of the bunch.Comment
