According to the Cebu Daily News, WBO bantamweight champion Gerry Peñalosa will make the second defense of his title in Cebu City against Mexican fighter Isidro “El Chino” Garcia. Promoter Sammy Gello-ani told the paper that the event will be held either on July 19 or 26. The show will likely take place at the New Cebu Coliseum, or the Cebu City Sports Center. [details]

Was kind of hoping Larios had retired.

Very good fighter in his day, but struggled with an average jouneyman in his last fight.

Thought his last battles against Pacquaio & Linares, after all the other wars he's been in pretty much finished him off,
