Hi people just thought i would start a thread. Basically as a brit i believe that the majority of american people dont like fighters that aren't from there country. They just like to hate because they are jelous and have biased views. Personally, i think that the talent of boxing is no longer dominated by americans with many europeans, russians etc coming through the ranks. However, the yanks hate simply because they don't know fighters who arent american.

Look guys is simple. I do agree whe you here a guy comming from europe, we go like, lets see how good he is over here in america and all of that stuff. But saying that Americans hate european fighters,well, the peolpe who are nuthuggers,well,they do. Because trying to diminish Calzaghes or Hattons acompplishments because they are not Americans is dumb!. The real fans who knows boxing they give credit were credit is do, no matter if the figher is from,the US,Puerto Rico, Mexico,Europe,Philipines,ect. SO saying that Americans hate brits is kind of childish and ******. For example in the Hatton-PBF fight even the americans where on Hatton's side, and in the Hopkins-Calzaghe fight was the same thing.
