Americans dont like boxers that aren't from there country

it's not that americans "automatically hate" euro fighters! when a european fighter comes to fight against an american most europeans on this form flood the board with Calzaghe is going to own.... hatton is gonna knockout... david haye is the greatest... and it's the same **** every time, so naturally we defend the fighters we know and support, so we get automatically labeled "euro haters"

it may come across that we hate but we are passionate about our boxers and i hope americans can see that.

Hi people just thought i would start a thread. Basically as a brit i believe that the majority of american people dont like fighters that aren't from there country. They just like to hate because they are jelous and have biased views. Personally, i think that the talent of boxing is no longer dominated by americans with many europeans, russians etc coming through the ranks. However, the yanks hate simply because they don't know fighters who arent american.

the thread is not ******ed. i am just simply saying that america has set the standard for so long like the ric flair guy above with atg such as ali etc but i dont believe they do anymore.

The thread is ******ed because on average there are just as many brits dislike american boxers because of where they come from. There are haters onm both sides of the pond.

Lennox Lewis, Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn, Joe Calzaghe, Ricky Hatton, David Haye, etc, etc. These guys all suck?

Of course they do.Hatton beat an old tszu by cheating,Joe Calzage got a very Questionable decision agaisnt a 43 year old and never beaten anyone with a pulse,Chris Eubanks a bum,David Haye,Nigell Benn self explanatory,Lennox Dominated a very week division,got knocked out by 2 bums,and had a height and reach advantage over the vast majority of the fighters he fought.As soon as he Fought somebody where he does`nt have the height or reach advantage Vitaly.He retired like a ***** to avoid a rematch cause he got his ass kick by Vitality and got saved by the ref cause vitaly had a cut.Somebody must have told lennox that the height advantage that Vitaly has over him is an illusion and thats why he took the fight.

Well you cant be very smart then because obviously it will start **** and you will be flamed.

On a whole we are probably more bias than any country when it comes to our fighters (not a bad thing). Every**** over here was talking about Hatton beating Mayweather......I was almost even convinced myself at one point.
