Looked like to me he was off balance even though Hopkins landed a nice shot, but I didn't think Joe was seriously hurt at all fromt hat punch. Salem and Mitchell landed harder punches then that in my opinion and there not even at elite level compared to hopkins.

HAHAHA.... Hey, I predicted Hops to win and even bet a 1,000 points on it. Calzaghe CLEARY won by a UD in my eyes. Props to him for putting on a strong performance, he was CLEARY the busier fighter. Im just curious though, out of all the punches he threw did he even cut Bernard, draw any blood, cause him swell at all? I mean he beat Jeff Lacy to pieces with those shots....Hopkins is amazing even in a LOSS. He should retired though.

I thought "Oh no!" and my heart sank. Joe was unusually stiff and hesitant in the first round, it took him a while to get into his rhythm.

I didn't think he was seriously hurt either, I just thought it was going to be a long night.

Hopkins landed another straight right hand nearly straight away after it and I remember thinking "I hope this isn't the pattern throughout the fight".
