Oh welter...the sock excuse was the JMM fight. The Morales 1 fight was more like coz he underestimated Morales and he had too many people distracting him, which was a normal excuse.

JMM socks excuse was an excuse for not knocking JMM out....it was a draw.

The Filipino people like Manny are generally humble people. Have you ever seen Pac brag? Manny admits it was a close fight......him saying he was lucky is just so he won't be critisized for being a braggart. Hard to explain but that's how Pinoys are (when not in the net) in real life.
