Andreas Kotelnik Wants Ricky Hatton, Junior Witter Rematch

Following his knockout win over Gavin Rees to capture the WBA junior welterweight title in Wales, Andreas Kotelnik (29-2-1, 13 KOs), a former Olympic silver medalist, is all for a unification rematch with WBC champion Junior Witter (36-1, 21 KOs). [details]

Junior will jump at the offer. The first fight was pretty controversial, let's see how this one plays out.

      Great news!

Witter will welcome this with open arms. Witter is going to clean up this division soon enough. I think he will take Kotelniks belt, beat D-Hop then go to colombia for Torres' belt.

Kotelnik looked very impressive dominating and knocking out the tough Gavin Rees....I would take Kotelnik by close UD in a rematch with Witter.

Kotelnik, whose two previous defeats include one to WBC champion Junior Witter almost three years ago, does not intend to unify the titles, instead wanting a big money match-up with Ricky Hatton.

          What's the truth then?

In the interview I saw with him he said he wanted Ricky Hatton and that he had already fought Witter. I don't know where this came from either tbh.

I believe he said he was willing to fight Witter for the "right money"

Well I think Witter would take 50-50 at this stage, he really needs a big fight.
