I think Morales was the best out of the lot, barrera, pacqauio and Marquez. He was an absolute legend and i just hope that he is remebered for all his great accomplishments throughout his career rather than his fights with Raheem and the two losses to pac man, when he was... shall we say past his best and had a lot of wear and tear.

I miss Morales. Of all the fighters in the non-heavyweight group - Erik Morales is by far my favorite fighter. Simply because he has NEVER been in a boring round.

By far the most exicting fighter ever. When he fought Pac for the third time, he fought him the only way he knew how - all out brawl. Not like what the aging Barrera tried. Sure it was the wrong tactic....but it was a hell of a better fight than Barrera/Pacauiao II.

morales never reached his full potential imo....he was inexperienced and sometimes careless and lacked a little of technique at his early age at 122...when he finally was mature, barrera put a hurt on him that took his legs forever more imo...at 126 he had refined his technique but his legs were not the same...and his brittle hands always held him back....and weight draining finished him along with his 50 all out wars
