True in a way. But i dont think he will get Wlad straight away and he needs to adjust to the weight. So i just thought they should throw Hayes name in the mix. Because Audley, Danny Williams, Skelton keep fighting each other so they might as well have a change of scenery with Haye.

Haye needs to take care of the british heavyweights first. Are you listening Haye? Warm up with that Welsh, Gammer guy and the other white dude Greenburg as well. Those would be quite interesting matchups.
Why does he need to waste time with the British merry go round?
He has already stated he isnot going down that road as it is pointless.
He wants real top 10 competition for which we should be happy with.

The only British heavies worth fighting for Haye are Scott Gammer and Danny Williams. Skelton and Sprott would be ugly dull fights, Harrison is washed up and Roman Greenberg is nowhere near polished enough for Haye to worry about.

I think Haye will do well but needs time and quality sparring partners to help his development. I know he has sparred with Danny Williams before and Williams was very impressed with Hayes ability. This bodes well for Haye.

I personally think Haye should aim to fight in the US and get himself a transatlantic following. I've said before he's a knockout artist who is articulate and looks like an athlete. As an undisputed champ he should be looking to go international now, the last thing he needs is a dozen fights against British no-hopers like Harrison and Skelton.

Haye could get KO'd early if he fought Wlad in his next fight, he needs to adjust to fighting at the higher weight gradually. Even though it's his natural weight his skills need to be polished at the weight before he fights Wlad and it'll take at least 3 or 4 fights to finetune things. If he wins his heavyweight fights convincingly, climbing up the ranks of the new division with successively more difficult opposition, he'll have a legitimate shot at Wlad down the line.

If Haye faces stiff competition at HW he'll never make it Wlad. A Sultan Ibragimov type will kill him.

So more likely is that he fights Rahman and/ or Holyfield, nobody close to prime, and waits his turn to get KO'd by the champ

I don't think it would be fair if Haye had the chance to get a shot against Wlad right away. Let him work for it...

The big question mark over Haye is how he'll absorb the heavyweight punch. His only pro heavyweight fight had him knockout the mediocre opponent within one round, it wasn't a real test but rather a display of Haye's punching power at the higher weight against a durable fighter. It showed that Haye can hurt a durable heavyweight with devestating effect but the question still remains, how much can he be hurt by them?

In theory, Haye should have improved durability, punch resistance and stamina but it's anyone's guess at the moment as to if they'll be evolved enough to absorb repeated heavy attacks. If Haye can abosrb (or evade) punishment well enough, he'll be a force at the elite level with his offensive skills, especially in a division where the elite fighters are, from a historical perspective, comparitively unimpressive.

HW may not be the best division right now, but it is a very deep division. I'd put 7 or 8 guys as heavy favorites over him, another 7 or 8 as slight favorites over him, and another 7 or 8 as even money with him.

There are that many capable guys
