Campbell Blasts Juan Diaz Over Steroid Claims

The newly crowned Lightweight champion Nate Campbell had a lot on his mind Friday afternoon. Upset by Juan Diaz and his camp's steroid accusations, Campbell didn't hold back his emotions when speaking to BoxingScene.com . "I think that what Juan Diaz is doing is wrong. This is what's bad about the sport nowadays. It's so easy for these guys to throw around steroid allegations when they lose. I'm sick of these guys trying to defame what someone did with hard work and dedication. If it keeps going this way, I'm going to have all of them in court."

Campbell deserves all the credit for his win, which was rooted in experience and skill. I saw no black bottle in this one.

Hatton and Diaz seem to have forgotten that the best way to redeem yourself is in the ring against top opposition, not with comments to the press. This is not to say that they won't necessarily do as such, just that they should leave their justification up to future performances rather than excuses (however legitimate they may or may not be).

All the Diaz camp was saying was that it was suspect to not have any drug tests, considering everything that was already going on. Nate fought a great fight, but he was getting handled before the cut so hopefully we see a rematch, but its obvious Nate dont want it considering hes already saying Juan will be paid "****"...Either way, Juan will be in bigger fights considering hes the draw, hes 24, and people want to see him, while we will probably hear Nate crying more in the future.

"I have done everything I could to be nice to them. I'm not going to let him demean me as a man. Everytime I ever lost, I took my loss like a man. I made a mistake against Robbie Peden, I took it like a man. I felt I was robbed against Casamayor, but I didn't hide and say it. I said it right on the spot."
              give him respect pls.

I lost £50 on Diaz that night the chubby student *****. He needs to stop being such a sore loser and admit he was beaten by the better man that night.

of course steroids have to cross peaples minds for the 36 year old...... Nate Campbell is the one being very disrespectful to juan diaz and his family.... I dont think Diaz is being a sore loser... I dont think no one can be as much as a sore loser than Rafa Marquez after the third fight. Some one should have gave that man a bottle after the fight fa real.

That just how most Mexicans are.
They're just too proud to accept their defeat then they start making excuses...sore losers.
