This is the first year that I voted for most of the winning selections. Usually my votes wind up attributed to whoever comes in 2nd or worse.
The only different votes I had were for Fight of the Year and Best commentator. I voted for Vazquez-Marquez II as Fight of the Yearhaving but have no problems w/ Pavlik-Taylor I being chosen. I also picked Bob Papa for Best Commentator, and was surprised to see Nick Charles take home the honors. Not that he isn't a good commentator, just that I believe Papa to be far and away the best in the game (and in football as well).
I agree with (and voted in favor of) the rest of the choices.

He well deserves it. When you see some writers making articles about the best of 2007 where Mayweather isn't even mentioned you gotta ask what's wrong with boxing. I hope people who really love boxing like Floyd and also Oscar, who are getting old take over boxing's decision making. I mean, some fighters have been treated so ****ing bad while others who are still semi prospects are elevated to only crash later on.
Cong****, Floyd Mayweather.
