ESPN's Loughrey, Yorgey Mess and Atlas Too

If the latest allegations are true, Doug Loughrey, the boxing program director for ESPN, could possibly land the network in the crossfire of a legal battle over junior middleweight prospect Harry Joe Yorgey (21-0-1, 9KOs).

An excellent, provocative piece by Rick Reeno. It's a shame that more journalists haven't commented on this topic yet because this needs to be at the forefront of all boxing media agenda. There is a clear attempt by powers in the sport to cover up corruption and Reeno has brought it out in the open.

And on the subject of matchmakers, there is seldom a matchmaker that can be trusted to give any credible remarks on the sport of boxing. They are in the business of bringing lambs to slaughter for the house wolf. Their job is to deceive and spin, what do you expect?

Those screenshots were taken from Boxrec.com's forums. I've read them there before.

I'm with Rick, tho. I don't know why he has to be putting other people in this story when they have nothing to do with it.

Hopefully, this situation will be resolved sometime soon.

A excellent and informative read, Mr. Reeno.

Please continue to shine the spotlight on any other such issues so that ultimately the fighters may benefit.

Major props to Mr. Teddy Atlas, the fighters' friend.
