I heard rumors about Quintana v. Judah and Arce v. Someone... Is this true, can anyone confirm? If not, what is the under card?? I might go to the fight but want to know if the under card will be solid.
Jermain Taylor v. Kelly Pavlik, what's the undercard?

It started out like it was gonna be an awsome undercard, but its really crumbled.
Arce was gonna fight Castillo, but it fell apart.
And now Quintana is fighting Williams on the 2nd.
Duddy was supposed to fight then too but it was moved to the Klitschko-Ibragimov undercard...
This is the new undercard, which is still pretty good:
Ricardo Torres vs. Mike Alvarado, 12 rounds, for Torres' WBO junior welterweight title;
Cristian Mijares vs. Jose Navarro, 12 rounds, for Mijares' WBC junior bantamweight title;
Ronald Hearns vs. TBA, 8 rounds, junior middleweights -

That undercard isn't too bad, and it's gonna be nice to see Christian Mijares fight again. Im interested in the Torres/Alvarado match because Alvarado is from Colorado. Good to see a fellow Coloradoan getting a shot at the title. Seems a little early for him though, I've only seen him fight on Telefutura a few times against ok opponents, but this is gonna a big step up. It might be a long shot for him to win, but It will be nice if he does.Last edited by Gareth Ivanovic; 01-02-2008, 09:40 PM.Comment

Im actually really impressed with the promoters.
Anybody who expierienced the first fight live was gonna order this PPV, so they really coulda skimped on the undercard.
But they really tried to stack the card, but fights fall apart sometimes. Its really a testament to bob arum and co., who seem to have turned over a new leaf and are working very hard to put together some wonderful cards.
And its also good that we as fans recognize that and commend them for their efforts with a PPV purchase.Comment
