cotto has clearly fought the better fighters and he should be called the real champ of the welterweights.
100% accurate..not only that Shane Mosley is arguably a better welter weight then Floyd...

no way man. possibly a better lightweight. shane still might have faster hands, and he does hit harder. but full package, mayweather is definitely better.

Could Cotto go up in weight? I don't think so.
Didn't Cotto win a world title at 140 already?

The prime WW that beat DLH gives Floyd all kinds of trouble.

In response to all this Baldomir was "the man" stuff: Buster Douglas was "the man" after beating Mike Tyson, so Evander Holyfield became "the man" after beating Buster Douglas. Does beating Douglas make Evander a "great" champion, by itself? And is Douglas a career defining win for Evander?

Ok Cotto gets the nod at 147. But he hasn't jumped up in weight and defeated champions like Floyd. Floyd doesn't give a **** about the welterweight belt. He cares about how many divisions he's won in. 130-154.

Floyd's resume is still better than Cotto's.
