Cotto has earned his right to fight anyone he wants. Margarito doesn't deserve to fight him at this point, De La Hoya can't and won't make 147 at this point. I say Cotto vs Mayweather and Williams vs Cintron and the winners fight each other to unify the whole thing.

exactly. it would just be a great fight between the number 1 and number 2 welterweights in the world.

but it's understandable that floyd didn't want to talk about it after his fight. he just got done with the 2nd biggest fight of his career. he just went through a tough fight, and less than 5 mins after he won you got merchant calling him out on who he's fighting next. let dude rest awhile before making his next fight.
