This is the biggest point of all. I think British fans are great and their passion for the sport is awesome. The fact that they travel huge distances to support their guy is great, too. But honestly, Brits - please don't question the U.S. fan base simply because we don't (all) support a loud-mouthed ponce who needs his ass kicked in the worst way. Some of us (and there's nothing wrong with those who DON'T feel this way) appreciate a little humility in a fighter. The ONLY person who has really brought up the "country vs. country" thing has been Floyd in a pathetic attempt to glean more PPV buys and make himself look better. Unfortunately when he's flipping off English fans and insulting everyone who doesn't have as much money as he does, its not hard to see through.

But seriously, don't expect us to like the guy simply because we're Americans.

I have been to England...and was I happy to get back home.I was surprised at how little amenities I take for granted here,were unavailable there.

One thing many people fail to admit is that the size of the U.S.A. is a hell of a lot bigger than Britain, The Phillipines, Puerto Rico and a lot of these other countries with great fighters. That makes a huge difference. Just think about it for a second. Why do you think Kelly Pavliks peeps travel for him? Their aint nothing to do or nothing to back in Youngstown, OH but him right now. Due to the fact that the U.S.A. is so big, it is very hard for a fighter to have a huge following and the PPV makes it easier to stay home and watch the fight anyway. Once you check the populations of these countries versus the people who travel for the fight, you will see that the percentages will be a lot higher than what they are being made out to be. If Hattons backing was so big, then he would have been traveling out of country to fight a long time ago. Same thing goes for PBF. But their not dumb though. They know where the money is and they do what they got to do to make it.

yea its a ****ing embarrasement, 25,000 Brits have gone with most who know they cant geta a ticket but they show theyre support. I made a thread about this, alot of the yanks would prefer to armchair support and troll these forums for post count.

Tru fans travel half way around the world, to drink the same beer they could back home, in similar bars but go just to show their support at weigh-ins etc cos they cant get tickets.
