I just want to point out that you take a look at Mayweathers resume and it looks like his biggest wins are

Zab Judah and an old De La Hoya

Then I thought about Cotto and I thought about who he has beat and it looks like Cotto has only beaten.

A Judah who has come off from a 1 year layoff and an old Mosley.

Can anyone explain to me why Cotto has more credit than Floyd?

Cotto beat a Judah that was in a 2 month lay off, he fought Ruben Galvan (NC R1). so not a year lay-off. Cotto defeated an undefeated Malignaggi, Quintana, Torres, Pinto, Maussa. Whie Mayweather defeated an undefeated Diego Corrales. I'm not saying being undefeated means anything but Cotto has entered the ring against undefeated opponents who are dangerous. Mayweather has fought great fighters like Castillo, Corrales, Gatti. I think its a fair question but both fighters who have proven themselves with quality opponents.

Mayweather claims to be the best but will never fight anyone who deserves the shot always saying this is a business and I need to get as much money as possible. Then Margarito/Mayweather is bout to happen and Flyod is gonna get the most money he would have ever made (8 million) and he turns it down to fight an OLD ASS De La Hoya. You will NEVER see Mayweather in the ring with Cotto, Margarito or Paul Williams!!!! Too high a risk for not enough money which is dumb b/c if your the greatest and still can make a quick 8 million why wouldn't you want to prove yourself before your out of your prime????
