Soto - The only fights I've seen of his were his last three televised fights. In those fights he has shown me that he can box/slug, albeit against "statues". He is the bigger, taller, better jabber and packs more walloped than Joan. If Soto's jab shows up tonight, plus the size factor ,I think Joan's speed will be diminished by each round and Soto's pin-point body punching starts to take its toll. Soto by late ko/tko or UD
Guzman - The only times I've watched fights of Joan are highlight clips, which doesn't tell me much. One thing is for sure, Joan is hands down , the more natually gifter fighter compared to Dumberto. Guzman's monicker is "Little Tyson", well, that was in the lower weight classes he fought in. His punching power doesn't seem as explosive today at 130lbs. I think Joan's speed may cause fits early in the fight for Dumberto, but if Soto's jab starts to find its mark. It maybe a rough night for the Dominican. Soto by ko/tok or UD
Bottomline - Soto's jab/size/backed by well placed body punching will be Soto's key to slow down the ultra-talented Dominican!
For Guzman to win - If he can make Soto miss most of his power punches and counter effectively to the body and head then this may zap Soto's strength as the fight wears on. I can see a Guzman decision but I don't foresee a ko win for the Mini-Tyson look-alike!
