        What makes you so sure Wilde is #1? I have Fitz at #1...

        1 - Fitzimmons
        2 - Wilde

        Then you have Lewis, Calzaghe, Ted Kid Lewis, and maybe Hatton. Hatton will be third if he beats Mayweather, that much is clear to me. I'm happy with anyone who rates Calzaghe above Lewis and Lewis, I'd be happy to hear him called p4p #1 post war from Britain if Hatton loses.

          "Greatest"? If you want to argue he is best because of generational advantages that's fine (though wrong) but "greatest"? How is he greatest than a three weight world champion and one of the hardest punchers of all time?

            However, he was British when he won the championship, and a yank when he lost it

                fitzsimmons isn't any different than lewis,he's more kiwi than he is a brit,lennox belong to the world,britain canada jamaica.
