even if he beats hopkins (who would be the only "legend" on his resume), theres nothing he can do to be an ATG, at least not in the p4p lists.
I'm having a very hard time understanding this statement. There's NOTHING Calzaghe can do to be an all time great, no matter who he beats from now on??????

Obviously there are things he could do... But they wont be done. He better fight for at least 3 more years piling on 3 fights a year w/ world class opponents in and around his weight.
it's hard to judge joe as an all time great. the problem is, who has he fought? he ahs fought soem decent guys, but not eh roy jones of the world. the thing is, i know that a prime joe was very good and he would have given a jones real trouble. to have a 0 at the end is very much doubtful, but i know joe has all the abilities of the world that makes him a great boxer. unfortunately if it was him or frank warren, he wasn't able to show it agaisnt top fighters.
i mean i've seen 15 of joe's fights, and most were very good fighters if you look at them. joe has had power in the past when he didn't have so much hand troubles with his left. he's got speed, a ncie jab, stamina, heart, a chin, power, great footwork and is a humble guy. he is also very adaptable. he took some uppercuts so started to box.
maybe because he is humble and use to stay away from the media/clubs/tv shows and major events meant he didn't get the fame (even in the uk) and the fights, but i have no doubt he should be considered a great fighter. unfortunately in boxing, you can't fight everyone.
anyway having seen his past fights, i have always rated him. it's hard to see all his fights on line, but if you have a chance then get it. some great fights with mitchel, sheika etc.
on the last note. he's the greatest smw ever with a good record.
