    Who gives a ****???

Floyd only represents Floyd and therefore he does not have the luxary of having an entire country like Mexico as a fanbase automatically as some fighters do.

He is a Black American fighter. He has plenty of fans in the Hip-hop community but nobody knows about them if you're not part of it. Those people do not know much about boxing but they do know about Floyd or a Zab Judah.

Still Floyd only represents Floyd. Do you see him wearing a Grand Rapids, Michigan logo on his trunks or something? NO, money, money, money.

His skills are what he is loved and appriciated for and his skills and ego are what he is hated for by many. At the end of the day it doesn't matter whether you love him or hate him........it's all the same. Whether you buy a ticket or PPV to see him get knocked out whether you're a Fan of his, it all translates into big dollars.

Floyd thanks you all, including VIVA MEXICO

Its funny, i remember when there were so many people circa 2003 who were saying floyd is one of the most underrated fighters period p4p, and how his resume at 135 was hall of fame worthy. infact, i can remember in 2002 after the first fight with castillo how everyone was calling him fraud mayweather until he rematched him and won, and people were congratulating him for stepping up after a contraversial loss.

like many fighters, its not until they are on top that all redundant issues come into play, questions like this are ******, would the yankees have any fans if it wasnt for their winning legacy? Would tom cruise have any fans if he wasnt in big movies all the ****ing time? this is a ****** ass question.

Alot of people like to underrate the black community when it comes to supporting our fighters, but floyd has a very large following in the hip hop/black community just like judah does, the thing is, we have no flag to represent us, no language other than english (here), so when your black and american, you have no banner to fly under, but were around most definately.

however i dont support floyd just because hes black, if that was the case, i would like edison miranda and i cant stand that mother****er and i was definately rooting for pavlik to knock his ass out.

your not understanding my point, mexicans fly under the mexican flag, puerto ricans (my ethnicity) we fly under the puerto rican flag even being owned by america as a territory, filipinos fly under the filipino flag, but when the majority of your fans are african american, yes you could rock the american flag, but what about the other americans who cant stand you? you see my point
