You may be right, considering that Marquez isnt exactly a knockout puncher. He will most likely outbox Manny again, so the judges will need to be there, but as far as the 'count' I dont think it will come into play either.

Manny will most likely not knockout Marquez in a rematch. He had his chance after knocking Marquez down three times but he couldn't do it. I expect Marquez will fight alot smarter the second time around and try and avoid the straight left that got him in the first round.

reason he counted in spanish is becuz its JMM native lan he had the luxury of haveing a ref dat spoke spanish
unfortuanlty had manny gone done he wouldnt have been able to count in filipino for him

ok laugh some more, you try counting uno, dos, tres, quatro... after that, try to count in english this time! and time the count... which is faster? i know, this is a silly argument to make but my only question is why didn't he choose to count in english instead? if you are on a witness stand, you will be charged in contempt by the court because you didn't answer the question as it is!

Don't take offense chito from jose, he loves to criticize and complain about threads that doesn't meet his standards But I have to agree with you, the count in spanish is slower than normal, although we're talking about what 1-2 realtime seconds delay. TECHNICALLY, It would have been fair to count in english, but if Marquez got up, I'd givem him that delay just cuz he deserved it.
