Promoter Lou DiBella's Broadway Boxing came to Downtown Cipriani, located on Wall Street in Downtown Manhattan. On the card, Lightweight Jorge Teron (18-0-1, 11KOs) won a unanimous eight-round decision over Mike Gonzalez (10-2, 9KOs). Gonzalez returned home to New York to make a statement, but was soundly beaten by the rising prospect Teron. The scores were 80-72, 80-72 and 79-73.
