Not too many surprises in 6pm session.
Jacobs beat Porter by landing combinations whereas Porter was all single punches.
Porter is very short, Jacobs is rather tall. Porter tried to be the bully all match long, and turn it into a wrestling match. He'd throw straight left followed by a right hook, then drive both arms up under Jacob's armpits and then twist to either side to get him off balance and rattled. The ref was 60++ years old and let them do this all fight long.
Jacobs built up a lead using combination punching and circling. He was pretty tired by the end from all the moving. Knowing he had a lead, and since it was a revenge match, Jacobs decided to brawl and wrestle back somewhat. Porter beat him last time they faced at U.S.Championships, but with the win is now 4-1 vs Porter.
Jacobs amateur record is about 140-5, good skills, moves well, has savy, very mature, great head, and is from Brownsville. He's also got Breland in his corner. Will be a very good pro.Comment
