oh and also stuff that you mentioned about other sports is, its alot easier to do big main events cause everyone is under the same contract by company...not so in boxing...
sorry for 2 posts in a row
i like the idea, but lets not forget that the other sports you mentioned are on basic cable througt their seasons etc.. except for the wrestlemania things, but still even in "rastling" there is 4 shows a month atlesat and they are all free. Boxing's best fights are on premium television ie showtime, hbo yes there some sometimes a free entertaining fight (people you want to see) on espn and stuff. The Worldseries and Superbowl hell even nascars championships arent on pay per view and i think this is a big reason boxing is suffereing so much. You used to be able to watch fights on abc and stuff back in the day which most people that had a TV had that channel.... Boxing loses so many possible fight fans and stuff because they are mainly on premium television. Hell even UFC has a good thing going, they are on a basic cable channel being spiketv, they show old fights and then have a series to get people into the sport.... this is something boxing lacks alot i believe...... But i do like the idea of multiple great fights in 1 or 2 nights
Agreed, I think PPV is the most important part of why boxing is losing it's popularity. There's enough fighters, theres enough talents, just the damn PPV
